How You Can Help
The Orthopaedic Research Institute (ORI) is the largest and most prestigious institute of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. The team at the ORI is committed to solving the puzzle of many painful and debilitating orthopaedic conditions such as arthritis, joint injuries and tendon deterioration.
In 2001 the ORI ranked second in the world for the number of medical research papers presented to the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and in the top 10 for the number of papers presented to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). More than 40,000 people from around the globe attended the AAOS meeting last year. Your support will help to:
- improve and speed up the healing of broken bones, tendons and cartilage
- prevent and treat sports injuries
- prevent and treat arthritis
Together, we can improve the quality of life of thousands of Australians.
