Anne Kent, RN
BHSc, ONC
Anne Kent is the Nursing Unit Manager within the
Orthopaedic Surgery Ward at St George Hospital. She has been at St George Hospital
for approximately thirteen years, since emigrating from England. Anne was an
RN within the ward until 1989, when she took up the position of NUM, and
planned
the move into new facilities in 1992. As the NUM, she oversees all financial,
personnel and patient care aspects within the ward.
Anne Kent was trained in orthopaedics between 1980-81 at the Royal National
Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, Middlesex, United Kingdom Hospital. Orthopaedic
nurse
education on a formal basis commenced in 1988 by Anne, and is now open to Sydney-wide
applicants. Anne gained her Bachelor of Health Science in 1992. |
